El principio / Beginning
Muchas cámaras y muchas fotos. Haciendo una selección las más interesantes se suben a flickr, pero ¿qué sucede con el resto? De aquellos fotógrafos (profesionales o aficionados) que me interesan, siempre me pregunto al ver una foto cómo será el resto del carrete. ¿Habrá tenido suerte en esa precisa foto o es realmente bueno y sabe lo que se hace? Pocos dejan ver su "obra" completa, incluyendo errores. En este blog trataré de subir la totalidad de los negativos y -si es cámara digital- subiré lo que no consideré tan interesante como para estar en flickr. No sé si seguiré con este proyecto mucho tiempo, pero de momento, empezamos ya.
Para mi cumpleaños, me regalaron una Zeiss Ikon Contaflex. La estrené en el viaje a Lisboa de hace unos días. La cámara debe tener algún defecto, ya que muchos negativos sólo están impresos en la parte superior. Investigaré qué le sucede. Por otra parte, me encanta ese toque sesentero que tienen las fotos de esta cámara. Todavía estoy escaneando los negativos, pero de momento esto es lo que tengo.
Lots of cameras and lots of photographs. The most interesting of them end up by being uploaded on flickr. But, what happens to the rest? Among all those photographers (pro or amateur) that interest me, I always wonder when watching a pic about the aspect of the rest of the roll. Was he lucky with that single pic? Or else, is he really a good photographer, knowing what to do in that precise moment? Few of them let people see their complete work, including mistakes and the like. In this blog, I'll try to upload whole rolls or, in the case of digital work, I'll upload the most interesting pics (but not that interesting as for being on flickr!). I don't know if this project will take long, but for the time being, let's begin.
I received as a birthday gift a Zeiss Ikon Contaflex. I shot the first roll in Lisbon, few days ago. The camera has a fault, sometimes only the upper part of the negative is exposed. I'll try to find out what happens. On the other hand, I love this 70's tone that the pics from this camera have. I'm still scanning the negatives, but right now this is what I have:
